Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) or the eucalyptus oil used in this bath is obtained by steam distillation with subsequent rectification (separation) from the fresh leaves or fresh twig tips of various types of eucalyptus. According to the European Pharmacopoeia, it is a remedy that is traditionally used - primarily in the form of vapors in a hot water bath - for the typical symptoms of the cold season.

Camphor (camphor) and menthol act as additional essential oils, embedded in a special oil bath additive and in connection with original Dead Sea bath salt, relieving the respiratory tract.
